Windsor Park Walk – 7 September
21 August 2008
Get fit, have fun and save lives
Ordnance Survey has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation® to get Britain walking through the sponsorship of the charity’s Hearts First Walks.
Taking part is a great way to get fit, enjoy the great outdoors and raise vital funds to help beat heart disease.
One of the walks you can take part in is the Windsor Park Walk.
The route
Windsor Great Park offers one of the most beautiful and scenic opportunities to enjoy our countryside leisure. The walk is suitable for all the family and the short walk also includes a kids’ adventure trail to keep the kiddies entertained on the gentle stroll around, ideal locations to stop for picnics. A children’s entertainer will also be at the registration area for the morning and early afternoon.
How far it is?
A choice of three routes!
4.5 miles
10 miles
15 miles
Why do it?
Heart and circulatory disease is the UK’s biggest killer. Being physically active will help keep your own heart healthy, while the money you raise will help us continue our pioneering research and life-saving care. So please put on your walking boots, get sponsored and together we can beat heart disease for good.
How to enter
If you would like to take part or find out more about the walk, please call 0808 100 2109 or email ordnancesurvey@bhf.org.uk.
