
Runners get sizzling in Manchester this summer

Runners are set to get sizzling in Manchester later this summer as part of an event that may appeal to fans of outdoor activity.
On Thursday 7 August the Manchester Reebok five-kilometre Sizzler race will take place at Wythenshawe Park track in south Manchester.
Described as a ‘flat and fast’ race, the event is for fun runners and keep-fit enthusiasts, and goodie bags will be up for grabs on the day for every runner.
Furthermore, there is £2 500-worth of prizes to be won over a range of categories, including £50 for the runner who sets the new course record for their age group.
On 3 August keen runners will be able to take part in a similar track-based event.
The Sale 10 Mile Road Race will take place in Wythenshawe Park in South Manchester and will cost £8 to enter, plus an additional £1 on the day.
