The National Motorhome Show
Celebrating its 18th year, the 2008 show is set to be the best ever thanks to a brand spanking new £7.8-million indoor exhibition centre. The new centre is called the ‘Peterborough Exec’ and features a glass-fronted atrium entrance that will showcase the 2008 Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly (MMM) award-winning motorhomes. The new 5 583 m2 building will be great for browsing the many motorhome products on offer as, thanks to a bit of clever design, there are no internal pillars or posts to block visitors’ views.
As well as over 250 specialist traders all in one place, visitors can also see new and used motor homes from all of the UK’s leading dealers. If motorhome enthusiasts are looking for a certain vehicle or accessory and they can’t find it here, then they probably won’t be able to find it anywhere!
Evening entertainment
The show has a reputation for excellent evening entertainment, and this year is no exception, with legendary comedian Julian Clary starring in the Saturday evening show. There’s also entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings, plus children’s entertainment during the day on Saturday. Visitors can stay on the site in the massive camping areas and enjoy the show well into the evening.
Details
The show takes place on 25–26 April at the East of England Showground, Peterborough. Day tickets for the event are priced from £6.50 per adult, including free parking and a free show guide, while camping tickets start from £36.
