Motoring fans get revved up in Cheshire
18 April 2008
Motoring fans will be getting revved up in Cheshire next month as one of the biggest events in the classic cars calendar takes place.
On Sunday 25 May and Monday 26 May the 24th Cheshire Classic Car and Motorcycle Show will welcome motoring fans from all over the country.
Held at the Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield, the event will feature hundreds of classic cars and over 250 automobile traders and spare-parts sellers.
In the venue's Avon Hall there will be a special MG theme, where specialist clubs and dealers of this type of vehicle will be running stalls, showcasing the best that these cars have to offer.
Classicshows.org says of the event: ‘If you're a classic car enthusiast or just wanting an alternative day’s entertainment, this is the event for you!’
For those who are unable to make this event, or who simply have an insatiable appetite for classic cars, on 11 May there will be more motoring madness.
At Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire the 16th Festival of 1 000 Classic Cars will take place, featuring hundreds of vehicles and over 150 stalls.
The event is held outdoors in the historic surroundings and bills itself as the ‘biggest and best’ car show of the year.
