Rugby fans head to Cardiff for a day out
04 April 2008
Fans of rugby will be heading to Cardiff next month for a sporting day out.
On 3 and 4 May 3rd the Millennium Magic 2008 event will take place, featuring all 12 Super League teams.
Cardiff's Millennium Stadium will host the event, which will see each of the teams play one game during the two-day event.
So far the fixtures have been released, but not the times at which each team will play during Saturday and Sunday.
The first day of the event will feature two West Yorkshire teams, the Bradford Bulls and the Leeds Rhinos, in a bitter battle, as well as the Castleford Tigers taking on the Wakefield Trinity Wilds, while the Warrington Wolves will be trying to savage the Huddersfield Giants.
On Sunday, things will be no calmer. The Catalan Dragons will be breathing their fire over the Harlequins RL, while Hull FC will go head to head with Hull Kingston Rovers and St Helens will take on the Wigan Warriors.
The Welsh venue is also hosting the Heineken Cup Final on 25 May for the fifth year.
