Easter adventures across England
12 March 2008
The National Trust® has teamed up with confectionary firm Cadbury® to offer a host of Easter egg trails at some of its most popular destinations.
Events will be taking place over the Easter weekend at Killerton House in Devon, Trerice in Cornwall, Sissinghurst Castle Garden in Kent, Fell Foot Park in Cumbria and many other locations.
Cadbury has donated chocolate egg prizes for the winners of the Easter egg trails at the various National Trust properties.
The company is also working with the National Trust for Scotland, organising similar events at a number of Scottish sites.
And Peckover House in Cambridgeshire has a special treat this year, with the return of the Easter Bunnies' fun trail.
The trail will be open to kids from March 21 to 24, with a host of supporting activities planned.
Admission to the trail costs just £1 extra on top of the usual cost of entry to the famed Georgian brick town house and its intriguing walled gardens in the centre of the market town of Wisbech.
The National Trust is a registered trademark of The National Trust For Places Of Historic Interest Or Natural Beauty.
