Gold Coast Oceanfest surfs into Devon
14 June 2007
This weekend will see the Gold Coast Oceanfest roll in along the coasts of North Devon, providing entertainment for all the family. Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Woolacombe will all be playing host to a series of favourite white-foam activities.
Sporting events taking place at Saunton Sands will include parakarting and kite surfing, while longboarding, street and vert ramp skating are among actions set to break along the golden coast of Croyde Bay.
There will also be a series of concerts, trade stands, simulators and exhibitions as well as numerous culinary offerings in the area's local bars and restaurants.
In addition, an iron-man competition is to be held at Croyde Bay, and appearances to be made by the Red Arrows and the RAF Falcons.
The event will run from Friday 15 June to Sunday 17 June and is free.
